Farnaz, Chemical Engineer

Farnaz Mohsenpour is a Chemical Engineer – she uses living things, such as plants and algae, to produce chemicals that can be used for energy, e.g. biofuels, medicine or pigments.

STORY TIME

Ted and his New Colours

Ted and his algae friends have certain colours that they make but Ted dreams of change. Will Ted learn to mix all the colours of the rainbow? (We really do use mini algae cells to produce a range of colours and by stressing the cells we can get different colours)
